TAPISH Foundation, a grassroots, community-based organisation, was registered in March 2022 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The Foundation works with stakeholders, government departments, and non-governmental organisations to raise awareness, sensitivity and work towards equal opportunities for all transgender, gender diverse, and queer persons. It also provides shelter, education, and employment opportunities, and ensures access to legal aid, entitlements, healthcare and mental health support.

TAPISH is a member of the district-level transgender welfare board in Indore since 2023.

We are an entirely trans, gender diverse, and queer-led organisation and all our programs are designed with the help of the people who use them.
