Why the Drop-In Centre exists
For many transgender and gender-diverse people, there is no safe public
space to rest, talk, or ask for help without being judged, questioned, or turned away.
The Drop-In Centre exists to meet immediate, everyday needs —
while also becoming a doorway to rights, services and collective support.
What happens at the DIC

Phone charging and internet access
One-on-one supportive conversations
Referrals for shelter, health and legal help
Support for documentation and entitlements
Hygiene kit distribution
Community discussions and peer support

Collectively discuss safety, discrimination, and access
