Nikunj is a trans man who belongs from a small village Suwasra in Madhya Pradesh. He has been working for the upliftment of the trans community in India for more than 6 years. He has done his post-graduation in Masters Of Social Work. He was a fellow at Dignity Fellowship and at TWEET Trans Youth Leadership Fellowship Programme. He was a fellow at Dignity

Fellowship where he aims to bring visibility and equity to the transmen population with the help of constitutional values and laws. He is also a passionate businessman and intends to bring economic upliftment in the transmen community by teaching productive business strategies, skills and innovative ideas. He also represents Tapish Foundation in the District welfare board in indore.

Mradul Kumar

Mradul is a transman from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. He has tirelessly worked for transmen in Madhya Pradesh for their legal entitlements. He has helped more than 100 people in getting their Transgender Identity card, E-Shram Card, Documents required for legal transition. He has sensitized many companies to help them create a safe and inclusive working environment for transgender community. He also got placed several transmen to secure a job at private companies. He has been one of the first Covid Fighters for the trans community in Madhya Pradesh with the help of Humsafar Trust.

Sri Chandran

I am Sri Chandran, Training Officer at the Government Divisional ITI, Indore, and an active member of Tapish Foundation, dedicated to the empowerment of the transgender community. As a transgender man, he advocates for equality, awareness, and inclusion. He is a member of the Transgender Welfare Board, Indore, and Sahyog All India Transman Sanghatana, Mumbai. He has completed leadership and advocacy training through Project Samarthan and The Humsafar Trust and is proud to be the first transman in Indore to receive a Transgender Identity Card issued by the District Collector.

Avani is a Dalit trans woman. She is a data analyst and a writer. As a member of the Tapish Foundation, she supports technical work and contributes to the organization's work.

Avani's mission is to create new opportunities for the trans and queer community, especially in the areas of digital skills and employment, so that the community can become self-reliant and live a life of dignity.

Gautam RamChandra

Gautam RamChandra (he/they) is a dalit, neurodivergent transmasculine person and a programme leader and communications strategist with over six years of experience across social impact and infrastructure sectors. His work focuses on advancing gender justice, mental health access, and inclusive systems through community-led programmes, strategic communications, and policy engagement. He has led national fellowships, built cross-regional collaborations, and contributed to creating safer, more equitable spaces for queer-trans communities in India.

Vihaan Vee (he/him) is an Ambedkarite queer feminist trans man and development professional involved in anti-caste, feminist, queer, and trans movements. His work explores the intersections of gender, caste, and climate justice through writing, organizing, and storytelling. He hosts MasculiniTea: Kuch Mardani Gupshup, a podcast exploring transmasculine experiences. Vihaan seeks to amplify marginalized voices, document lived realities, and imagine futures grounded in dignity, resistance, and collective power.

Jyoti Muhal (she/they)

Project Co-ordinator

Jyoti Muhal is a queer rights advocate and Project Co-ordinator at TAPISH Foundation. They lead initiatives promoting constitutional rights, inclusion, and empowerment for queer and transgender communities. Their work focuses on community mobilization, awareness, sensitization, and policy advocacy, creating inclusive spaces and advancing equality in urban and semi-urban communities.

Sandhya Ghavri

Project Manager

Sandhya Ghavri is a Project Manager and dedicated transgender rights activist with over 12 years of experience working for the empowerment and inclusion of the transgender community. She serves as the Brand Ambassador of Swachh Indore and is a member of the District Transgender Welfare Board, District Election Commission, and Madhya Pradesh Transgender Welfare Board. She is passionate about dance, art and craft, drawing, and music.

Shivansh (He/Him)

Project Co-ordinator

Shivansh is a transman and Project Co-ordinator at TAPISH Foundation. A graduate, he has been associated with the organization since 2024. He conducts awareness and sensitization programmes on queer and transgender issues and rights with stakeholders, school, college students, hospitals and educational institution staff. He enjoys listening to music while driving alone at night.

Tripti Gehlot is the Senior Financial Officer at TAPISH Foundation with over 15 years of experience in finance and administration. She plays a key role in ensuring financial accountability and organizational efficiency. She values TAPISH’s inclusive, supportive work culture and is committed to strengthening the organization’s mission through her expertise.

He/she manages social media content, conducts field visits, promotes health services and welfare schemes, and encourages community members to access support through the Drop-in Centre and Mera Kunba shelter.

She supports and empowers community members through guidance, documentation, learning resources, and TG Card assistance at the Drop-in Centre.
